Melody L. Hardwick, 58, of Somerset, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2005 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born on December 26^th, 1946 in West Palm Beach, FL, but spent most of her life in the Lancaster and Buckeye Lake areas. She was a member of the Living Word Church, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, William; daughters, Shari Hanes and Mindi (Richard) Arnesen, both of Lancaster; son, Jim Landis (Laura) of Oviedo, FL; step-children William Hardwick Jr (Tara), Kimberly Chaney (Mike), and Todd Hardwick (Ute); several grandchildren; and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Landis; and grandparents, James and Thelma Chapman.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 25, 200, at Snyder-Sheridan Funeral Home, Bremen with Pastor Marcia Ashbaugh and Pastor Michelle Hanson officiating.  A graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Glen Rest Cemetery, Reynoldsburg. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
